I Need Kindle guidance: length of young adult romance books

Anyone have a rough idea regarding how many pages / words an young adult romance book should be?

I'd appreciate any help

    This is what I found on web. Hope this help.

    In short:
    80,000 – 89,999: Totally cool
    90,000 – 99,999: Generally safe
    70,000 – 79,999: Might be too short; probably all right
    100,000 – 109,999: Might be too long; probably all right
    Below 70,000: Too short
    110,000 or above Too long

    It depends on the story you are telling, how many pages does it require to have a good plot, round characters, good actions etc. But generally a young adult romance book shouldn't be 1000 pages long, but something like 300-600 should be just right. Book pages, not Word ones. Good luck!

    Aside from being GRM, I'm also a novelist and screenwriter. To answer your question: how long's a piece of string? But, to be more helpful: think novella, not novel, if you're new and in KDP.

    I once created an e-book that was fifty pages. Got a lot of bad reviews. Most said that it was too short, and not worth the money. Hey it was only 99 pennies!

    All my other books were much longer over one hundred pages. I got good reviews. My rule of thumb is one penny per page. Oh yes, I know you can get a $7 WSO course... and it is only seven pages. What is it with seven any way? However, this is a totally different ball game.
