Getting paid by checks out of the US?

So I'm not from the USA, but I want to start getting paid from USA affiliate companies(GetResponse affiliate program)
But I'm wondering if I'm able to use these checks since they will be sent from their country to mine(Egypt)

Has any one out from the USA received checks from them and was able to use them?
Thanks!

I have had checks in the past from Clickbank who are in the US that I have been able to cash in the Uk.

Not sure how it works for your country, but in the UK a foreign check can be cashed with a small charge, but it does take a little longer to clear.

Does the affiliate program you are promoting not offer payment via bank wire or paypal?

Nope, sadly they only offer checks, but I also need to know if people have done the same thing from other countries

    You should be fine.

Speak to your affiliate manager. They must have other affiliates from Egypt.

Ask them to send you a wire transfer. Most companies do it these days.

You just have to provide them your IBAN and stuff. Works great.

I deposited checks in Dubai - and it took a month to get the funds in my account.

So check is the laziest money transfer option. Avoid it if you can

I get checks overseas but they have to stay in the bank about 3weeks before they clear.

In the worst case scenario, go to Western Union (they are all over the world) or MoneyGram and they will be happy to cash your affiliate checks for a fee.

Just reach out to your am to see if they can send you another form of payment. Note that you still will get paid, it just might take time for the check to reach you and to clear at the bank.

Yes, I have received checks from Clickbank without any problem - I live in europe.

You should find a bank that can take your check and give u cash for it. Usually banks require to have an account with them but that shouldn't be a problem.
Remember that it might take some time to get the money for the check (depending on the bank you choose to go with).

I also see that Clickbank now offers wire transfer to more countries, check if your country is there and use this method to get money faster.

Check payments are really very time consuming. You can contact your affiliate manager and seek for any alternative payment options.

Also ask your bank how it may work.

I've received cheques from Amazon to a country in Asia for many years. It takes some extra time to pay into the bank account as it originates from a US bank, but it works fine in my experience. I'e also paid in US cheques in the UK, and that works fine too, but similarly does take some extra time (and they take an extra fee).

Ouch, I just went to my bank to ask them about this and they told me it'll take at least 2 months to get the money from the check.
I'm going to wait for GetResponse's .. response. lol
