What Press Release companies would you advise?

Hi,

I'm am launches my first products on Amazon.com next month and I want to market that listings in various ways. One of them is doing a quality press release. There are many platforms out there and they all cost money (strange thing isn't it, LOL!)

I'm looking for the best quality at a reasonable price.

The websites I'm thinking of are:

prnewswire.com
uk.prweb.com/
24-7pressrelease.com

Any advise or suggestions?

Thanks in advance from the Netherlands!

Cheers!

We don't use a press release company. Instead, we had an intern manually search for reporters who wrote articles on topics that indicated they might be interested in our company and its projects. We also, of course, collect the names of reporters who actually interview or write about us. Finally, we have a form on our website for people who want to be on our press list. To be honest, the latter tends to be filled out by small-time bloggers, but since it doesn't cost us anything to send an additional email, we happily add them.

It's definitely a more work-intensive model, but at the end we ended up with a very targeted list instead of just blasting a bunch of random people.

This is a very good idea. They say more people are aware of the local news than global. Though I do have a company w/ interns I could possibility outsource this.
