Losing money fast with lead impact

So im getting my traffic from lead impact my campaign is a mmo game. To test i have my ad set to $20 a day max just to test. I did a lot of research on keywords picking out the best mmo sites. Yet im getting like 10 clicks a minute and no leads. Im using prosper202 to track my ad and i got rid of some of the sites that were bringing in 100s of clicks because they were costing me a ton really fast. I had some clicks through like 10 of them but no leads! Am i just in the wrong category? Gaming does it convert? Please help me!

Since this is a PPV question, you should have posted in the AD networks section of the forum.

      PPC media buying.

PPV is where you get paid per view.

No need to try and correct what is not wrong. If he is using Lead impact then he is doing PPV not PPC.

I think that you may need to brush up on some of the terminology.

    Gaming should convert well.

Do you use landing pages or straight to offer? If you you're using a landing page, what is the CTR to the affiliate offer? If you're directing straight to offer, don't be too surprised that it doesn't convert well. This is interruption marketing and if your landing page is not optimized with the correct window size (like in the case of direct linking), you will just lose money.

I wouldn't consider $20 a day a ton of money, especially with PPV. I know the "word" on PPV is that it's cheap, but that's not really my experience with it. With most campaigns you have to spend quite a lot until you get to see leads or sales.. and then you have to optimize & tweak the campaigns to make them profitable. Although the CPC is low, the CPA could be quite high.

Sure, every now and then you'll hit a 20-30 to 1 campaign from the get-to, but it's hardly the norm.

Anyway, this question is better suited for the CPA / Ad Networks section of the forum, rather than Main IM Discussion.

Gaming converts, are you tracking your targets, if they aren't converting you may want to pause them

How much have you spent on the campaign so far? How long has it been running?

Thank you for the responses. I probably shouldnt answer on this category but im really at a loss here so im gonna try anyways. Sorry.

I do have a landing page its a little less than norm size wise but i figured that that may not matter. I added audio to my ad maybe i should remove it?

I have only been running this for a day. I know thats no time at all to see if my campaign will be profitable. But i had 700 clicks on one of my keywords in less than an hour with 7 click throughs and no leads. In seeing that i got worried and got rid of that keyword. I did my research for my keywords in google adwords with their display planner. I also used things like similarweb, Alexa, and quantcast. I made sure that my keywords matched my topic but it seems that they may not be as hot as i thought originally.

Is there possibly a site that will look at my landing page to see if its correct? I have a hunch that warrior forum doesnt like that kind of stuff. Id ask my affiliate manger at maxbounty but she seems to never respond as i have messaged her 2 times with no response. Thanks!

Well that's your problem. You're panicking after 1 day. If you got 700 clicks and only 7 leads, then you might need to adjust your keywords or your offer.

Then again, I don't work with ads, so my advice might be completely off.

What is your ad? An actual ad that has to be clicked to get to the lp or is it an actual lp that can be opted in to?

And throwing money away. PPV traffic is nearly worthless.

Find some gaming sites to run banners on through buy/sell ads or find some on your own.
