ClickBank second product in account for affiliates?

Wow that thread title was confusing wasn't it? Okay here's what I need to know: I have a low cost product (short report) that many people have asked me for an affiliate program for. I really don't feel like going through the motions to set up a new CB account for it. Can I add it as product 2 and let affiliates promote it?

I know it won't show UP in the CB marketplace, but how will the affiliates get their links? Or can they? Seems I recall being able to promote a product with a 2 or 3 in it. But my memory has faded about it.

See #7 and #15. It's not clear, though, how the affiliate link for product #2 would be set up. Maybe they need to have their own pitch page and send it directly to your payment link?

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Never used them, but Clickbank Multi-Item Manager is one of those scripts to create a multiple number of affiliate links in a single ClickBank Account.

The best way is to use a ClickBank affiliate
    management tool like easyClickMate

    Hello,
Your not gonna believe this but I was just sitting at my computer trying to figure out the same thing.

I was at a clickbank site and the order button had a number 2 in it meaning that it was a clickbank product #2. I went to the bottom and he had an affiliate link. It was the same affiliate link you would use for a first product. Meaning the affiliate link had no number 2 in it for the second product.

It seems that affiliates just promote the vendor id without the number 2 in it just like for clickbank product number 1 and the order button which has the number 2 in it will redirect them to the correct download page.

I am not sure on this but I see people having affiliate programs attached to products 2 and 3 and so on. Once again the affiliate link seems to be the same for each product and the order button which has the 2 redirects them to the correct download page.

So I think affiliates can promote your secondary product and so on in clickbank but I believe those products 2 thru whatever will not show up in the clickbank marketplace. I'm pretty sure only the first product on a clickbank account shows up in the marketplace.

Anyone know if this info is correct!

In my experience, it is not your products that are listed in the marketplace. They instead list your site that you set up under account settings>>my site. This of course can be a sales page.

    All the best,

Also, forgot to mention that you cannot setup affiliate links for your additional products. Only direct payment links.

    Here is the official answer:

The HopLink, as well as the Marketplace listing, can only direct customers to the URL you have saved as the HopLink Target URL on the "My Site" page under the "Account Settings" tab within your ClickBank account. If you are selling multiple products through one account, we recommend you design a HopLink Target URL that acts as a gateway to all of your products. For instance, you could sell products from three different websites.

If you want affiliate HopLinks to connect customers to all of your websites, and you only want one ClickBank account, you should consider creating a new HopLink Target URL that would serve as a passageway to your other websites. Affiliates will be tracked all the way through to the purchase of any of the vendor's products offered through that account.
