Clickbank vs Commission Junction

Most of the stuff I read on bum marketing tie it to Clickbank, but I read a couple articles that say Commission Junction actually works best for the bum marketing method. What do you all think?

    Commission Juction works better because their offer are more interesting and they track correctly the sales.

    I think you should sign up with both of those networks and experiment to find out what works best for you in your niche. I think you are going to have a hard time getting people to say one or the other is better. It all depends on how you go about marketing the product, what niche you are in, your ability to presell, the competition, and so many other factors.

    People have gotten rich with Clickbank and Commission Junction. They are two different types of products.

    It's true that they are different types of product. But to makes sales whith clickbank is much harder because people tend to avoid those kind of products. Even if you use the bum marketing method, it is possible to make money with clickbank but it is harder.

      I actually tend to disagree. I have had a much easier time with clickbank products in the past than I have had with commission junction. I really think it all depends on the niche and what specific thing you are doing to promote it. I don't want to be argumentative. It's just my opinion.

      To give a general example. I have done articles in the golf niche. It is very difficult to convince someone to purchase golf clubs or golf accessories online, without them seeing them first. I do however make quite a bit of money pushing golf training products like ebooks and video tutorials that can be found on clickbank.

    Sign up for both. They are essentially the same affiliate system with different products you can promote.

    What matters more IMO is how you are going to market the products. You should only concern yourself with which affiliate site to use depending on its payment system and its reputation with its financial handling to affiliates.

    Just sign up for both, and choose products that relevant with your niche. Then do focus with your niche marketing.

    It shouldn't be harder when you capture leads first.

    Bum marketing is not something you want to do in the long term, so build your list, and then, you can send them commission junction or clickbank stuff, or whatever you want to send them.
