Woke up this morning and saw a refund in my CB account... What a bummer! Anyways I started to wonder what a "typical" refund rate is for an average marketer on CB. I'm at about 1 refund in 15 sales. |

This sig under construction...

It really depends on the market and the product. I try to keep it around 5% if the payout if $20-$50. Some of the Forex Products can refund as high as 30% but the payouts are larger. |

You're actually pretty lucky. It's usually a nice string of sales - and then a nice string of refunds. That's just part of clickbanking - they make it extremely easy to get a refund.

There really isn't an average number. It's more got to do with your niche, marketing tactics and quality of traffic. I would suggest staying above 80% of sales with no refunds or 2 refunds for every 10 sales. I personally don't like refunds and don't want them to affect my accounts. There are certain niches that will usually have more refunds such as Forex and make money online fast. You're doing excellent with 1 refund with 15 sales. But they do have a full 60 days to refund. cheers! |
