Tools of the profession

Hello everyone! My name is Jesus, and I am new here. My goal is to make a part time income doing internet marketing. I have looked through the forum, and have found a lot of great information on what I need to get started. This is what I have so far.
1. Web Hosting
2. 4 Domain Names
3. Leadpages.net (Currently on the trial)
4. GetResponse (Currently on the trial)
5. various MRR's and PLR products I obtained through a resell rights website.

My questions are Is there anything else I need? Is there anything that I should go without? Thank you to all those who took the time to read and reply to this. In the mean time I'm going to look through the forums again Thanks.

    Hi Jesus

You seem to have enough to get started.

What I would say is that you need to keep learning and never stop learning.

Read blogs and books on marketing daily to educate yourself.

    What are planning on doing?

    Affiliate marketing?
    Product creation?

You're missing the most important part.

    Which is a business plan.

Without that, no wind is favorable.

Agree a business plan is essential but other than that you seem to cover most things. It time for you to pick out a method and learn everything you can and take what you learnt into action. Set yourself deadline otherwise you will never get off base 1.

Stay realistic, commit yourself, be flexible in your approach and hopefully you will see results in whatever method you decide to do.

ajy questions make sure you post on here because this place will give you the best advice possible

You've got everything you need mate. However, you might want to create some original content.

    1. Decide what niche you want to start in
    2. Acquire domain and hosting (which you have already done)
    3. Setup your optin page, upload your lead magnet(free gift) and write the first 7 days of your AR sequence
    4. Setup your product (sales copy, video, graphics etc) or simply upload a relevant affiliate link
    5. Get traffic! Solo ads & facebook will give you the quickest results (that I can vouch for)

This is a bit simplified, but that's the overall framework

You have the tools. Now, as mentioned, you need a clever plan.

Instead of reiterating the great advice thus far, let me give you something else to consider:

    Whatever you do, be different.

Use a proven system, certainly, but shape your business plan into something different. Give people a reason to choose you instead of the virtually infinite number of others in your chosen niche.

Nothing happened/worked for me (many thousands spent) until I hired a coach. If you don't have a mentor/coach then the chance of succeeding is pretty slim. You have to focus on: 1) Building a list - the only true and enduring way to make money if you don't pursue CPA or PPC affiliate. At any rate if you are too be successful it takes a lot more then tools, and has a lot more to do with strategy and knowledge which a coach can impart. Also, there are some excellent (and some VERY bad) programs out there. Check out Henry Gold's XM Alliance.

I plan on doing blogging, re-selling, and affiliate marketing for now. I would then like to move on to creating my own product. I dove right into this profession which is why I don't have a business plan right now, but I will create one ASAP! In addition At the moment I am in the process of learning how to research my niche, setting it up, and getting traffic to it. I will make sure that in whatever I do that I be unique in order to offer something different. once I gain more experience and capital my plan is to find a coach. Henry Gold's XM Alliance looks very interesting, have you personally used it? Also what would be your recommendations in starting out creating a blog or affiliate marketing? Thank you so much for everyones help it is highly appreciated

I haven't personally used it however I learnt a lot from Chris Farrell. He gave the tools I needed to create a strong foundation. Blogging done right can be very rewarding. I used to love it and will be returning to it in 2015. Have you got any experience doing this?

To build a successful blog you need to be creative but also staying consistent. I used to update my blog twice a week and with a monthly hangout. All of this was extremely enjoyable and thats the real secret. If you enjoy it...then it will show in your writing and that will hopefully have a direct result to engagement followed by potential sales.

I think you're approaching this backwards. You should start with the business idea and business plan and buy the tools you need to execute that plan successfully.

What you did is like going to the grocery store and buying a lot of random ingredients:
      • Garlic
      • Onions
      • Chocolate cake mix
      • Orange juice
      • Bread
Fine, those are great ingredients, but what are you trying to make with them? A grocery shopper would do far better to start with a recipe for the dish that he or she is trying to make before buying a bunch of ingredients. Likewise, you'd do better if you had a business plan.

Honestly I would focus on traffic first whether I had drafted up a business plan or not.

Seriously in this competitive environment traffic everything. Of course your offer has to fit your traffic sources.

I have no experience with blogging, but the idea of writing about your passion and sharing it is what lured me to do blogging. I have heard a lot about Chris Farrell I will research into it and see what I can learn. I agree that I started backwards, If i could I would go back and devise a killer business plan then invest on the things that I need. Right now I am going to focus on developing my skills with blogging and wordpress, and play with affiliate marketing to see if I can make it work early in my journey. I have learned so much already just by posting one post! I appreciate all the help.
