OptimizePress Problems

I recently added a custom paypal button to my site and all of a sudden all of the content below the button disappears. The optimize support site said certain types of code may "break" the live editor. Paypal does not offer a button for the payment arrangement I need so I have to use a custom button.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix you know of?

Upgrade to the latest PHP on your server, check if you have a php warning on the top of your admin area.

Check to see if the content below the button has a time delay, you can click the cog wheel to check that.

Upload your own button as use it, that might solve the issue.

that's all I can think of right now... If you don't manage to solve this let me know via PM and I'll try to help. Also, a link to that content might be useful for more insights.

EDIT: upgrade to the latest version of OptimizePress, that's another solution.

EDIT #2: Make sure that your API key is correct, having the wrong one might mess up your stuff to prevent pirate copies.

  • I had 2 sites on OptimizePress that broke, but to their credit I have to say the team in England did fix it. I tried leadpages but I'm still using OP2 as my #1 tool. But sometimes I wish it was cleaner, faster and easier but it's good with all that said.

Have you tried contacting OP2 support? After all you paid for it, did you not?

Or...you could take a screenshot of the payment button, or get the image of the payment button and just attach the button as an image linking back to your paypal account.

You can do that for the meantime while waiting for their support.

    Hi,

    Try using Warrior Plus instead.

You can list your product there and then grab a code that fits nicely onto
    any page.

I've used Warrior Plus payment buttons on my sales pages using O.P.2.0 and
I've NO troubles with them as yet.
