Blog connected to Sales Page?

I have a Clickbank style sales page in the makeup niche.

I have 20 unique articles in this niche.

I am thinking about connecting a blog to my sales page site like salespagesite.com/blog and posting the articles to it.

Would that help the overall seo of my site?

Should I do this or should I set the blog up on it's on domain and direct traffic to the sales page?

    Hi Mary

    You can just put a blog page in your sale page site. Adding new content is ALWAYS important since it will allow you to engage more with your audience. Also, it will show that you are actually giving valuable content to your visitors.

    In my case, my blog is mostly valuable blog posts to teach people about internet marketing. So when people read my content and then see my offer there is more chance of selling.

    Absolutely - though you will find that the SEO advantage will largely be to your blog pages so it is still important to have clear navigation and/or action triggers to get people to your sales page and/or even more ideally, a list where you can deliver content and bring them back to your CB sales page multiple times via your list.
