Best way to approach this type of blog?

I happen to manage a drop shipping store that sells sports pet jerseys but I was hoping I could pick some brains....

There is a lot of competition for pet supplies. The market is huge. There are pet jerseys all over the internet but my prices are actually very fair. I have started an Instagram account, Facebook like page and Twitter. In two months I have managed to make 2 sales worth $70. And that customer was from Instagram.

What approach can I take that could boost my sales? I LOVE sports. Its my passion, and I would like to be more active on the blog side of the site but I have no idea how I could create unique content that is DIFFERENT. Something that will grab pet owners attention, but in a sporty way. I have a blog post I made a few weeks ago that explains how to take your dog tailgating with you at a game. But what could I do on the blog side that could possibly boost revenue?

I have thought about just trying to flip the website but I really think it could have some potential. My prices on the site are marked up 100% and sports here in the USA are huge.

    Have you tried FB or PPC banner ads? I think you can highlight "low price" with targeted ads. You can send your banner ads to a landing page and go from there. You can also start building an email list for further sales. YOu can also look on some large pet forums and see if they sell banner space. Best of Luck!!
