Good reasons to use live chat on your site

By installing a live chat option on your website, you have the option to talk live with your potential customers. In this way, you can assist your customers in any way needed. If you offer a physical product, you can use your live chat option as a chance to get feedback from customers visiting your site. You can also help a customer troubleshoot any issue they might be having with your product, so as to increase customer satisfaction.

If you have a retail site, you could act as 'personal shopping assistant' to your customer, making suggestions based on their preferences or needs or ask questions to help uncover their buying motives.

    After implementing Live Chat on our website, Post Affiliate Pro’s conversion rate’s increased by 23%. We are using our own chat application.

    According to our customers I can simply say live chat button (mainly communication with customers) has a big impact on conversion rates.

      Just been to your site and no live chat? I am in the UK so it may be the time difference. As someone else has said if you are only small its difficult to man it all the time.
      How do you do it, do you have set business hours that you provide the live chat as I can see your product being a worldwide type product?

    the first reason why we need to use live chat is of course it increases your conversion rate.
    Why?
    I think the best way to sell is to meet personally with people (one on one or mass presentation), after that we have webinar, sales page, etc.

    For most people I think one of the best way and it's been used by most of the best hosting company, live chat .

    Look at hostagor etc. People like them because of the support (live chat , ..... actually).

    Realize about that?

      An excellent example as even Netflix has a live chat feature. And, that's what inspired this question as I had to use the Netflix customer service chat feature to resolve a technical issue concerning my Netflix streaming TV device. I was at the point of cancelling my subscription over frustration and the chat representative worked with me to resolve the issue and even offered a free month. This is what good customer service can do and when coupled with a chat feature, it's live and instant not just via email.

    For larger companies, this would work but when you have a ONE men operation like myself, the only thing you can do to increase your conversions is to follow up with leads. This will increase your conversions LONG TERM.

  • There are definitely time when investing in a live chat and a professional to help out with the process of staying online is very important, but for most people on here who do all of this work on their own, then you should definitely consider just using good support via email. Of course, this all varies based on the size of the company.

    This sounds like a great idea! Is there a plugin to install a live chat or is it more complicated than that? It would be of great help you could guide me on how to do this.

    P.S: if you are on the live chat is there a smartphone app or way to chat with the people on your site?

    Yes, I like this LIVE CHAT option. every one wants to get the facilities. It is easy to get the customers feedback. It may solve any issue. so naturally the sell will be increased. I have been using this features for a long time.

    As a consumer just seeing a live chat option gives me instant subliminal trust. After all 'how can they be scammers if they are willing to chat?'
