Which way of structuring review site is better?
Hi there. I'm working on project and I could do with some advice on the best way to structure this.
The original project was simply a review site for a specific niche. lets call it widgets. So I go and check domains and I find I can get www.widgetsreviewed.com. Fine.
Out of curiosity I check to see if, say, monstertrucksreviewed.com is available and it is. As I check more and more domains with the formula I find I may have tapped into a goldmine. So I decide I could buy www.everythingreviewed.com and start reviewing everything on the planet.
Now I get thinking: I separate everything into categories. Am I better off turning it into a category within this domain and turn this domain into a single massive website? or do I set up a different website for each of the categories (i.e. widgetsreviewed, trucksreviewed, and so on) and turn my main domain into a sort of directory?
I have pondered a bit of the pros and cons on both options but I'm likely leaving tons behind. I could do with your views on this one.
