Best deal on Fiverr but no sales

by hennen

Hello,

I've read pretty much every thread there is on how to sell on Fiverr. I've implemented all the techniques to sell but have had no luck.

I have one of the best deals on fiverr.

I'm giving people a great bundle logo. Any tips for getting people interested?

    Hi Cole

It is not that you are doing anything wrong, it just takes time!

As you have only been a member selling on 5R for 14 days, it might take a few + feedbacks to get the ball rolling.

Would suggest you get some more examples of your work up, maybe some color ones!

Also maybe a nice *sellers* video of your services, 5R sellers with a video of whatever they are doing, get a LOT more sales...

Is 5R just for fun or are you looking to make a living?

Right now, just for fun. But I have the goal to make a few hundred bucks a month with it.

With $5 a pop you would think that Fiverr should be getting you traffic
but you still have to promote your gigs from outside of Fiverr. I find that
I get the most sales when I promote my gigs in my WF signature, which
to me doesn't make sense because I could get a lot more for my gigs
promoting on the WF as a WSO. I even closed down my gigs for a while
and now have to start building momentum again. It's not a big part of
    my business, just gas money.

      That is my thinking too.

Everyone always says sellers need to promote their gigs.
I would suggest sellers create their own websites where they can promote their services and offer customers the option to pay via paypal or fiverr. You can offer clients to join your mailinglist. When you get visitors you can add a new gig on fiverr and offer others to promote their gigs on your site

Ray is right you need to promote your gigs from outside of Fiverr in order to get more sales.

When your gig get more sales & positive rating. it will be favored by the fiverr ranking system and eventually you'll get a lot of page views from within fiverr alone.

It's just that there are only few people who knows about your gig right now. You need to expose your gig to your prospects.

It's more logical to spend your marketing efforts on selling at a proper price rather than guide people towards a marketplace where hundreds of competitors reside, earning yourself only $4 a pop...

I have had over 500 sales of my writing gigs on Fiverr. The secret? You have to DO YOUR OWN PROMOTIONS. Don't expect Fiverr to drive traffic to your gig. Get out there and CHASE THAT TRAFFIC DOWN.

Market to people who are interested in buying exactly what you're offering.

Make your offer so compelling that your prospects can't resist.

Give away some service in exchange for a bunch of glowing testimonials.

Create a strong and compelling call to action.

Deliver service that is better than anyone else in the niche.

      Treat every customer like gold.

      Now you're in business.

You have to offer something with more value -- boring black and white logo won't cut it when everyone is offering logos. Be unique and you will find success.

The problem with Fiverr is that your service can get lost within all the other providers that provide the same service. In my opinion it still requires marketing. Getting people to the Fiverr website. Maybe make a Warrior For Hire thread here directing people to your Fiverr, and start getting some reviews on it. Might shoot it up in the rankings. I am not sure if the Warrior For Hire allows that.

Your best bet is building up a reputation and asking people for peoples feedback. After you have accumulated much feedback you are now in business and people are willing to pay for your services. So the key thing to remember is reputation is everything, and the customers you do serve ask for testimonials from there just build your reputation. And as mentioned previously is to broaden your market , try posting on the Warriors for Hire.

There are several other people who are offering the same service - at same price, a buyer's question is "Why he/she should buy from you in particular?"

Market your gigs to the right people but I'd suggest (if you are serious about making money from Fiverr) to study your competitors on Fiverr. See what they are doing, how they are doing it and what better you can offer.

    I hope it helps.

I am promoting my fiverr gigs on different platforms
that made my gigs quite popular initially
since they are already popular on fiverr
i dont promote them any more
The Secret is that you need to promote them out of fiverr initially
once you get good feedback on fiverr
you are ready to rock there

I think there may any problem. The Fiverr gigs rate is $5.0 Of course this is not too much. Why your buyer will not active? You should review your all conversation. The client may found more good offer than you, so he diverted to the best.

Like with any product that involves design and creativity, you need a portfolio with the best logos you created that potential customers can view (eye candy).

Thanks for the tips. Does anybody know where to promote it outside of fiverr? I'm stuck on this one. I plan on making a YouTube video on my gig because I've seen people have success with that.

OK so first off, your rating is zero. Get friends to purchase your gig.

Second, it takes two days for a response. Make that one hour - yes one.

Please add a videos and also some express gigs.

Hey, spice your LOGOS up. For example, use red or orange.

Get ideas from 99 design, hatch wise or crow spring.

I ordered. Will give you a good feedback if you do a good job and that may boost sales. I used to do well on Fiverr so I know how hard it is to start up.

There are some Fiverr WSO guides out there. Some suggest some unique strategies including keyword research etc. There are also some good threads here on WF just search for the word Fiverr and then pursue from there

Continually scan the "wanted" area on types of Gigs that you can do, and when you see someone wanting what you can do, immediately create a custom Gig using exactly their wording, which give them exactly what they want, and send it to them.

That way you will get some jobs, and the ratings of your Gigs will improve, making it easier for you to get more.

    Try it

Don't know whether this will still help, but there is a very nice product out for Fiverr called FiverrFactory. Mike from Maine put it as one of his best products of the week. And he is very trustworthy. Maybe go check that one out on Google or something. The product shows advanced seller strategies (Level 2) and how you can profit more quickly using this.

    Good Luck, Sven

Best deal on Fiverr but no sales ? This is an outreach.

I checked your gigs, they simply not appealing. If you selling a logo service, you should show some good work done by so people consider ordering them.

As of the articles, you need to show ur work, I can hire a platinum write on ezine article with sport niche, post a link to ur work so people can tell how good of a writer u r.

With this being said, your services are not aligned with each other ( which is not good for your portfolio , logo design + article writing ), you may want to consider showing u r an expert in one area

Do you have videos? Have you shared your gigs on Twitter/FB through Fiverr? Do you have multiple gigs?

Fiverr is a very fickle friend. I'm a Level 2 seller on Fiverr and have been for over a year. Some weeks I get 30+ orders and have to turn on vacation mode to catch up. Some weeks its crickets. So just stick to it. Sales will roll in slowly at first, but once you get started, it'll ramp up. So don't quit.

Promote your talents onto your own website and market it on the web. This is the simplest answer. This includes promoting on this forum also. I think you could find alot of great clients here (especially me when the time comes around). But make sure your quality is good, and make sure your skills are good enough to produce a "jpg" header/ebook cover/sales page, etc.

Fiver gigs actually come up in the serps pretty well (depending on what you're looking for) so make sure that you're optimizing your title & profile w/keywords. Then you can also point some authority links to your gig to give it a boost. Similar to a youtube vide.
