Any recommendations for NON-lame Christmas GRAPHICS packs?

Looking for a large graphic pack and a low fee :-)

Hopefully fairly modern, non-lame graphics, that are really usable.

Thanks!

    Hi TW,

Have you checked out Pixabay for free public domain images and clipart?

Christmas - Free Images on Pixabay=

The search above shows they have about 2900 images for "Christmas". You could also do a search for things like "winter" and "snow", etc.

Even though the images are public domain, I'd stay away from any images that use identifiable models, as you can never be sure the model signed a release. It's just something I don't think is worth messing around with.

I'd be very careful when using any free image sites and even paid stock photo sites. Read the terms very carefully from any site selling or allowing downloads of images because nothing is guaranteed and you can still run into problems. See below...

Pixabay cannot be held responsible for any copyright violations, and cannot guarantee the legality of the Images stored in its system. If you want to make sure, always contact the photographers. You use the site and the photos at your own risk!

For audio I use audio blocks,
for video I use video blocks
for graphics I use graphic stock.

I do not like the clip art in public domain.
Believe you call it lame, and that is being nice.

The following are simply too expensive:
    • big stock photo
    • can stock photo
    • I stock photo

You obviously didn't check out the link I posted. There's tons of quality Christmas and winter clip art and photographs on the link I gave.

Also, VideoBlocks changed what I can download AFTER I paid for my subscription. I paid for access to sound and music files, then they took that away.

Not to mention, if you want to use media for a client and not yourself, you can't do that with Video Blocks...not legally anyway.

            Hi Timothy,

Thanks! Yes, I have some dramatic sunset clips over the ocean.

I just sent you a PM.

            Cheers,
            Bryan

            Looks good.

            Also...

I see you also sell video BG's.

I'm looking for a good video clip of a DRAMATIC SUNSET -- preferably over the ocean. Do you have one like that? Or know where I can get one/

            Let me know.

            Thanks!

Hi Bryan -- got your PM -- thanks.

I was looking for more like a start-to-finish sunset. Like sun over water -- sun slowly sinking into water -- then no sun visible.

The ones you had are 16 secs long.

I did some tries on my own, but I must need some kind of filter -- when I try I get too much glare, AND (most bothersome of all) the sun itself looks like a TINY SPECK for some reason.

                Hi TW,

Yeah, most stock video clips are only 10-20 seconds long at most. That's why I created the video background pack you see in my signature link. What's special about those is that each clip runs between 30 sec up to over 3 minutes long depending on the clip.

There is a clip in that pack that may meet your needs. It's the San Francisco Bay with the sun setting behind the golden gate bridge in the distance. That clip runs just over 2 minutes. You can see the whole clip at the link below.

                Best,
                Bryan

    Hi Kurt:

I plan to post some 4K video on you tube CC for free, what do you need any way?

Video blocks did BLOCK my access. Yeah, and I had the premium version.

They are asking me for $79 more. Hey, that sux!

Bad show all around as we say.
