When I buy traffic do I need a 3rd party tracking mangement?

Hi Guys,
Im considering buying traffic from Traffic Vance. I am not sure if I should use Google analytics to track ad conversions or if I should I use something like Omniture? Has anyone had something go wrong from buying traffic?

    Google analytics is definitely NOT enough.

    3rd party trackers are definitely needed, though not sure about Omniture - never heard anyone use it for tracking affiliate campaigns, and honestly, it looks like it's made for some really hectic marketing agencies.

    Those are basically the top 3.

    You will need a 3rd party tracking service to be able to track which keyword/url is giving you conversions.

    Yes, a LOT of people have lost a LOT of money buying traffic without the proper tracking or by not paying attention to bids & daily budgets.

    You have to so you understand the traffic. I use CPV lab, but I"m looking into a web based one called Voluum but not sure how to use it yet, it took a while to learn CPV lab which was a pain in the #@#%%.
