What kind of content can I use to promote an event (mainly nightlife,bar) fanpage?

Hi,

I have just started my first facebook fan page as a nightlife/events page and I would like to know if I could start by promoting (in post) for example ticketweb.com/eventbrite.com own events even for free and add them to my Events Calendar.

    Do you used wordpress? If so...you could use a content syndication plugin. This would allow you to display other peoples content on your site, this will automatically put content on your site, also remember that you can display other peoples articles from other sites provided that you clearly display a link showing the source of the article and the author.

    There's plenty of article sites around like ezine articles, not sure what they'd have in the way of clubbing themed articles but it's worth a shot.

      I use Joomla instead but there are similar extension. I was talking about a fanpage but apparently the content seems the same than on a website.

    I can give you a simple trick. Please try to add an image with your most of the contents. Contents with images have more reach and help to gather more traffic in facebook.

    You could also contact the clubs and bars and request some coupon or other deals that you can then provide your fans.

      The problem is the bars and the clubs (potential clients/prospects) want to see enough contents before any partnerships.
