Looking for some help!

Hey all, i have been dabbling with this stuff for some time now and so far i havent been confident enough to make a decision on the right method to go with, i have made a few sites in the past and a couple of sales and i also got scammed by some "guru" within this forum, this scared me off for a while but i need some help so i can move forward...

I want to create another income stream using affiliate sites or adsense sites but im overwhelmed by everything i am reading. It seems like one minute i have a good idea, then im doubting my choices, im pretty good at following instructions etc but i hate failing as we all do im sure. Im not very good at writing content as i lack the ability to research correctly, and as i want things to be as they should i dont want to write 1000 words and be bitterly dissapointed in the result.

I need help from someone who has the experience or even a course or anything i can use to help me make an actual start instead of just coming up with a thousand ideas and never settling on anything... Sorry for the cliche thread about the newbie who has no idea what hes doing but hey! We all gotta start somewhere right... H

It sounds like you already know what you want to do, but you just need a little confidence in your abilities more than anything. Forget the guy that burned you, I don't know what happened, but it's something we all experience both online and offline. Although online the scammers are more rampant, for sure. It's just part of life that some people suck.

Moving on, I'd say pick a niche with a few info products you can promote, and just work at it for the next few months. Forget about getting rich over night, and hall the hype and just go for learning more through experience.

When it comes to the quality of your content, remember this one thing... NO ONE is perfect. Not even the most experienced writers create perfect content. No one ever writes the perfect article, makes a perfect product, writes a perfect sales letter or creates a perfect sales funnel. There are ALWAYS ways to improve, always.

But that's also what's so great about info marketing and business in general. Everyone has different ideas about what they think is good content. If this weak you write an article and next week you realize it could have been better, that just means you have your next article idea, not that you messed up the first time, but that you learned and have more valuable information to share.

And that's what will attract a lot of people to you as well. If they enjoyed that first article and learned from it, how excited will they be when you expand on it later to go into more detail and help them even more?

The worst thing you can do is wait for the perfect niche, because there aren't any.

Just look for a niche you're genuinely interested in creating content for, and go for it. Some people will love your content and some people won't. You'll never be able to please everyone, so don't worry about creating perfect content, because it's just not possible. Focus on creating helpful content, and if you're learning about your niche, you'll have better content as time goes on anyway, and that's what people enjoy.

When I look back at what I created years ago, i kinda chuckle. But doing so has improved skills I never would have developed if I was still trying to choose a niche or find the right affiliate offer. In the end, those things mean very little and it's more about building a relationship with people.

Just don't let that scare you, because people off all different levels need help and whether you realize it or not, you have information inside you people want and they're searching for it everyday... those people want you to create content. Will you help them?

    Hey,

Well you have made sites and a few sales in the past? That's more than many people will achieve actually

Why did you give up then? The first tip i can give you is to do something you enjoy, otherwise it won't last.

There are plenty of methods that work actually, you just need to make it work yourself. I don't really believe somebody else will tell you what to do and make money for you (as you might have noticed before from the scammer).

So just a pick a method and roll with it.

PS: whatever you try, list building should be included as that's the cornerstone of a succesful online business...

The first step to start up is to avoid following multiple people at the first time. The worst thing you can do is get frustrated.

What I did when I first started was find 1 mentor and reverse engineer what they were doing to get good results.

You should really go for a proven business model that takes you by the hand through the whole process. Starting up can be difficult but if you have a system that makes it easy for you to get results, and a mentor to take you through each step step you will create a fast track to your success.

I really feel you have what it takes to succeed. It is much better to fail from the beginning to learn from your mistakes and scale up from there.

Then don't write 1000 words, start with 200 (bare bones outline, basic information) and then publish that, fleshing it out a little at a time, under each subheading on the published page. Once the content is live and you've had a chance to read over it and take the view of your reader, you'll have the opportunity to see what information is missing.

Do you already have an income stream? If yes can't you try to increase the earnings you make with it instead of starting something brand new?

The more sites you have the more complicated it is to manage them especially if you're new to all this. Start one website at a time, just one until you're confident enough to build more and manage multiple ones.

Try to get some proof that what you're about to try with adsense/affiliate actually works so you don't build the website but then cannot make money from it...

But I think most important thing is to do one thing at a time.

It seems like one minute i have a good idea, then im doubting my choices
That's because you haven't understood something well enough. If you're doubting what you're about to do it means you don't really know all the ins and outs of it. Get all your questions answered and do proper research before starting an endeavor.

When you buy a book or a course it's never going to provide you with all the answers. You will get ideas and learn things but you won't learn everything.

It could be also you are more suited to selling physical goods on Amazon, or Ebay - it is still making money online - what I mean is if the setting up sites, and writing content overwhelms you may have the wrong direction - you can always use good quality PLR and edit that into your own voice if you don't like writing from scratch. There are many business models, most people have an aptitude for one type of online biz - don;t be discouraged, keep at it and shrug off the self doubt.
