Default Bulk Domain Name Purchase Options - Advice/Sources Needed, Thanks.

Hello everybody,

I just registered another 40 domain names at namecheap.com and was wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper/better option. I want private name registration and will be registering .com, .net, and .org domains. I will be registering around 160 or so domains/month.

TomG.

PS - I am sending an RFQ to 1and1 and others.
PPS - Also looking to not getting killed on the renewal fees (esp. for private reg. - GoDaddy really gets you there).

Have you looked at Reseller Section $8.45 per domain, new or renewal. Free whois protection.

Tom,

Contact Namecheap customer support and
ask them if you qualilfy for a bulk discount
code. Buying that quantity should get you
over the threshold.

Hi John, yes I did contact them. I have a custom coupon code
setup in my account which gives me a nice discount. Thanks for
your suggestion. I was just looking to see if I can go down to the
$7 range .coms with privacy protection.

That is interesting, but how can I know if they're trustworthy? That is the question.

Willie Crawford has thousands of domains and cuts his costs by being a reseller (he also offers reseller packages).

Can't remember the name of his domain site. Maybe you could PM him, he usually gets back to people within a few hours.

I use only eNom, NameCheap or GoDaddy. GoDaddy's domain club cuts the cost down quite nicely.

i dont know about a cheaper option since you didnt say what you pay at NC

I buy at and LOVE dynadot.com - it started with $9.something but now i am at bulk pricing w/ $7.45 for a com.

The good thing about dynadot is they accept paypal, and it is ULTRA fast to get a domain up. Its instant. I purchase a domain w/ paypal...and i can literally have a site running on that URL 3 minutes afterwards.
