Flippa selling advice

Hey, I'm looking at building and selling sites on flippa. I'm currently working on this site www.simplelifefitness.com -it needs some work I know! But, once I get the customization done I should be set.

I'm curious to know if anyone makes a good side living on flippa? Is it similar to selling on ebay? I'd like to make 1 or 2 sales a week myself. Is that doable? I see sites like these www.funnytalks.com Lose Weight with Expert Advice sale for $85. What else do I need to be a good seller?

Content - ebay, cpa offers, adsense, service, drop shipper,
Great design
Free hosting for 3 months
Catchy domain
Free plugins seo, auto responder, etc

What else do I need???

Flippa is truly not the ideal platform. It attracts newcomers because it offers a simplification of the flipping process. In all honesty though, and for a number of reasons, you're best off looking elsewhere. Want to flip a site? Make direct contact with the right audience.

I am a Flippa super seller and I can tell you this much. Making a living doing anything repetitive on there will see diminishing returns.

People need to see fresh new stuff all the time and you only get high prices when you have revenue.

Make your living generating real revenue to your online business. Flip when you get bored and want to try something new

      Great advice from Brad here.

Funnily enough, Flippa truly isn't the best way to flip. Not unless you're in the business of developing new entities that turn a decent profit and flipping them. And doing so takes time. And TIME really seems to go against the entire meaning of a FLIP - which, to me, is short term, not a long-term commitment to generating revenue. Maybe Flippa should be renamed LongTerm?

Thanks, for the honest advice. I think I'll give it a try but my main income should be building wordpress site. Maybe I'll try freelancing on peopleperhour.com

I too am a Super Seller on Flippa - I actually started my IM career (back in 2007 flipping sites) because it was an easy method to profits...

Those days are gone, BUT there are sellers that make consistent four figures each month "flipping" entry level NO REVENUE/NO TRAFFIC websites. It's a VOLUME model, and requires MUCH effort to keep developing sites, dealing with buyers, and all of the logistics that entails...

You can find some of those volume sellers on this site: FlipFilter (direct site link - I'm NOT affiliated with Flip Filter in ANY way)...

You'll get enough information from Flip Filter to make an educated decision of whether website "flipping" is for you...

As always, sites that have INCOME/REVENUE will ALWAYS sell on Flippa. It's still a buyers market there, so no one can predict what you'll make on those sites BUT if they're priced right, you'll move them quickly...

This post is just a sample of what to expect on Flippa, it's by no means a COMPLETE guide. There's MUCH More to the website "flipping" game...

    Hope this helps...

Actually price depends on many things. Such as Content, Domain, Hosting,Traffic & so on. I know the flippa. it is a platform, where one can sell & buy site. If your site's content is without plagiarism, your sites traffic also good, you will be able to sell at a good amount. Beside the Flippa, there are more platform to sell & buy sites, you can use them also.

I you want to be successful on Flippa you have to be successful outside of Flippa first. Everyone is willing to pay for a successful business, so you have to have one to get people interested.
