If you haven't seen this yet, than you need to take a look. If this happens, it will change a lot of affiliate programs and software forever, I think.

What do you think?

That's mean we might be able to send affiliate payment directly via paypal?

Yea, that is also quite a nice addition. I noticed the other day that on certain payments you can already specify who pays the fees on the current payment system.

This new system will definitely be deployed - it is already in testing and being used by some sellers/developers on a closed beta. It should be available this fall.

In its most basic form, I think the biggest thing we will get out of it will be to have the buyer send 1 payment, and the seller and affiliate will both get paid immediately. So, a single payment is broken up and sent to multiple people (up to 6).

There is quite a bit more to it, as well, but immediate affiliate payments in a very simple manner will be great!

It also means that affiliates get paid instantly at the time of the sale.

This could definitely rock the IM world.

Very interesting. I wonder if the Primary Receiver will have control over if a refund has to happen. If the Primary Received gives a refund, then it automatically removes that money fromt he secondary receivers accounts.

If that's not possible, then I see this still not being a viable solution in many respects.

But it's definitely a very cool step in a much needed direction. It's make paying Affiliates MUCH easier!
