Teespring question about branding...

So ultimately I would like to start my own brand of t shirts.

I want to use teespring as a way to get some feeler ideas out there as well as get some start up money.

Questions:

1) say you have a successful campaign on teespring--do you have to end it or can you keep it going? If you have to end it...but you realized you made a good product, can you reopen another campaign with the same exact design?

2) say you make a few designs and people like them and you realize you are on to something--once those are done, can you then start your brand with the designs that you designed? or does teespring get to keep ownership of those designs?

So if someone had an idea for a brand, could the essentially use teespring as a way to start the brand, or would that not work out for whatever reason?

thanks for the help, its really appreciated.

Also im not sure if this should be in this thread or in the social media thread?

Basedon the information provided here: About Teespring / Terms of Service | Teespring

#1 yes you can relist a product at the end of a campaign.

#2 TeeSpring as far as I am reading in their terms does NOT influence apon the copyright of the image, so no, they will not have further actions available to them.

#3 Could you use TeeSpring as a springboard to your own brand? absolutely!

Thank you for the response! I appreciate it. Sounds pretty cool then. Do you have any experience with teespring?

Has anyone used tee spring and then gone on to create their own brand?

To be honest I have not had personal experience. I have a friend that does it all the time and makes a killing in the biker niche. He sells on TeeSpring year round and does 4 or 5 bike weeks a year where he designs designs for each.

I personally do some designs from time to time and sell them on e-bay. Not anywhere near the number my buddy does.

Yeah, that's what we did. Though TeeSpring is still the easiest/cleanest way to get paid. It's not as customizable as finding a local printer to print your stuff though.
