Caribbean Business Idea

Hey Guys, Can anyone here share with me ideas for an online business targeting the Caribbean, Taking into consideration that the Caribbean isn't too internet oriented.

My goal with this online business is primarily to generate funds to pay my way to university. Which is about $50,000 within 18 months from now. Can anyone help me? it does not necessary have to be targeting the Caribbean region only.

    How about developing a caribean travel website and generating good SE traffic. After that you can generate income via hotelscombined.com or agoda.com or others.

      Good suggestion, I actually taught about that but the Caribbean travel industry is very competitive

        How about taking it from a different angle and focusing on stuff that's not covered by the typical large travel agency's... Like the stuff you would find in the rough guides to the world series... Maybe reach out to local people in the Caribbean who have no exposure online but could benefit from having their little businesses exposed more to tourists.... ;-)

          Most caribbean small businesses are not existent on the web and since am not a SEO I would have no clue how to convince them that I can help web their web presence and increase their business

    How about forgetting marketing to the traveler in the Caribbean...

    What about becoming a subject matter expert on the Caribbean and marketing knowledge to travel agents.

    Or becoming a broker for tourist businesses in the Caribbean for travel agents

    Basically... concentrating on a B2B venture...
