Clickbank Tracking Question

Hello,

I'm a beginner starting real slow. I selected a product from Clickbank and got my hoplink. I added a Tracking ID. I tested the hop link and it went to the offer page as expected.

I wanted to see if the hop registered so I logged into Clickbank Analytics and searched by date under Affiliate Reporting. It's all zeros. Does it take a while for the stats to show up? It's been about an hour.

I actually used my hoplink twice, but I expect it to show up at least once. First I setup an htaccess redirect and it went to the offer page, but I wanted to be sure the affiliate code came over, so I checked the analytics. When I didn't see anything, I tried it directly from the address bar, then checked analytics again. Still nothing.

Or maybe there's another way to check if the hop is working properly through the redirect?

I'm so close to publishing my first article. It's written and ready to go but I want to be sure my redirect is working properly first.

    It can take a while, an hour is probably too soon. I have found that hops can lagged a few to 6 hours.

      It was impatience. (insert embarrassed smiley here) Both hops finally showed up. One more test, then I'll be ready to submit my first article and be officially underway.

      Analytics will take time to show. You can instead check it this way. Click on the order button on the sale page. This will take you to the clickbank order form. Scroll down to the very bottom... there at the very bottom of the page, your clickbank userid will be present within [].. This confirms that your hop is indead registered

    I noticed when I create a hoplink it usually doesnt show up in the analytics.

      That can't be right. Have you done any testing? Dif hops or dif products?
