They've already been banned by Ebay, and can't do it themselves, perhaps?

Isn't that (kind of) what they're advertising for?

Whatever it is, you're right to be skeptical.

You have to be very careful when deciding who to represent with your business. I've had eBay stores for over a decade and represent others. I've also assisted manufacturers and liquidators with their eBay stores. Over the years, we've been contacted by both honest and dishonest sellers.

I won't tell you our horror stories, but will advise caution. Not all importers and drop-shippers, contacting you for representation, are selling legal merchandise. We have run into a seller with stolen merchandise that wanted to sell under our name and ship from his location. Another company wanting representation had imported a large quantity of goods that were trademarked and manufactured without licensing. Be careful of brand-name merchandise which is priced too low.

eBay has a service for people selling items that do not want to do the work themselves at Sellforme.eBay.com People with merchandise can send items for sale and there is a 30% fee for this service.
