Automated Variable payments

I am looking for a solution that will allow me to setup an automated / variable payment. For example of I have a customer that gets billed weekly and the amounts vary from week to week - what is the best solution for this?

I think it will be doable via custom scripting with Authorize.net gateway or maybe even with Paypal interfaces.
I integrated multitude of payment processing into my software.

Haven't dealt with variable payments yet, but I don't see why not - as long as processor's API supports it. Lots of people praise Authorize.net API - so I'd think it should be possible with them.

This *is* likely going to be custom project - I am not aware of any ready-made solution for it.

1. First do you know what the amounts you plan to charge would be?

Week 1 x amount week 2 y amount week 3 z amount etc.

2. Are the amounts varying completely week to week or is there a pattern?

Ie. $4 week one $5 week 2 $6 week 3 $4 week 4 $5 week 5 etc.

Nanacast.com might be able to do it for you using our offer bundling payment feature if the amounts are predictable and there is a repeating pattern to it.

If you could be a little more specific about how the payments are structured and if there is a pattern what the pattern is I can see if it would be possible with our system.
