Your Urgent Attention! Tourism Niche Idea

I am one who believe that great minds were born from the bowels of successful mentors. It isn't a coincidence that the "Warrior Forum" has been and remains the great Corner-stone and bedrock of many marketers. I genuinely believe that "WF" is a Gem in the wilderness and above all, a community of goodwill, self expressive and forward minded people who are humbled by helping others!!!!

I know that most successful people hare are usually busy but, wouldn't mind going the extra mile if see fit.

Ok, even though I have made previous posts, the question is, who am I and why have I post this thread? The answer!!! My name is dexter and I want to know How to build a profitable business within the tourism niche. Your Ideas are valuable and urgently needed.

Points To Consider

1/ Time span is 18 months

2/ Funds required at the end of the 18 months period is $60,000US

3/ My IM experience is limited (I make it my business to learn a little each day)

4/ The purpose of this, hopefully project isn't intended for the long run. It's targeting a 18 months span. (Reason, funds are to finance my university endeavors, and I expect UNI life to be quit hectic, which will result in me not having the time to commit myself to the initial project) Ofc, Uni life varies but the simple fact that I would be investing so much for my first year means I would not want to focus on many things other than my Degree.

5/ My funds at present equal $200 US ( I know that sounds ridiculous but that's all I can access at this moment) Will reinvest the profits and expand.

6/ I live in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines ( small Caribbean Island with population around 107,000) Tourism is our main industry.

7/ I don't have a job at the moment so I have enough time to commit myself to follow a solid plan.

I kindly ask your input, it would help greatly if you are as detailed and specific as possible, taking into account my six(7) considerations above.

P.S How to build a profitable business within the tourism niche .Your Ideas are valuable and urgently needed. THANK YOU

Travelers are always searching for travel information. Good restaurants, little known gems, tips from other travelers and locals with insight.

You could start a blog/facebook presence with articles about specific tourist destinations and activities.

There are many travel affiliate programs. Most booking sites like Expedia have affiliate programs. You can put their booking widget right on your site.

    Affiliate overview | Hotwire.com

Amazon also has a lot of travel gear and accessories you could promote with a blog.

If you live in a tourist area you could find local businesses to promote or do travel promotion services for.

don't you think your being a little vague Dexter? I mean it's all well and good to say you want to build a profitable business within the tourism niche but what are we talking about here man? Are you trying to create an information product within this niche, a service style website, a physical local presence? What exactly are you interested in doing within the confines of this niche man? What was your vision when you first thought, "Hey you know, I'd like to work in the Tourism niche.."

Not trying to answer your question with a question but...the more you give the more we could help.

Hi Zerofatzreturns!! you are right. I did taught about exactly what to offer within the tourism niche, whether information, service or a physical product but because I know you warriors are much more experienced and knowledgeable compared to me. I tried to be as moderately general as possible, by been moderately general I would be able to get a wider scope of ideas within the tourism niche from warriors. At present I don't know which offer has a greater profitability while been consistent with my considerations mentioned.

That been so, my end-niche offer isn't predetermined, it's not fixed. My intention is to gather a wide scope of ideas within the tourism niche then researched and find out the profitability of each, taking into account my mentioned considerations.

      P.S Thank You

Going from newbie to $60k cash in 18 months is improbable. If you divide that $60k out by 4 years you'll be at a more manageable $15k and have six months to get the wheels turning.

Hi!!! DubDubDubDot, I am not completely a IM newbie, I have been engaged with IM materials for a reasonable time now but other commitments did not allowed me to be committed
      .
I do know some basic to moderate stuff about SEO and other integral aspect of successful Internet marketing. Having said that, at the end of the day success depends on ones willingness to take sensible actions.

DubDubDubDot, taking into consideration what I just said, how are my chances? do they remain the same? Or do I have a realistic chance of achieving my goals within the given time frame?

      P.S Thank You
