html code in postings

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm getting ready to post in the WSO sections and I don't see any instructions for using html code in the posting. Do I used any html code anywhere, anytime I want? Are there ways/rules for doing it here?

BBcode is what is used. Not HTML.

P.S. What a lot of people do is create their sales page, then snapshot it as a graphic, and post the graphic in the WSO section.

You can use your own banners but the codes will need to stay the same.

  Oh, I see. I read the WSO rules, even the form for adding one, and there were no instructions that I could see. How would anyone know this?
  
  So, about capturing a screen shot and posting it as a graphic, that's not possible when sales pages scroll off the page. I guess the solution is...
  1. Create many graphics - in fact the entire posting can be a series of graphics.
  2. Host the graphics somewhere
  3. Link to the graphics with the [img] BB code.
  
  Would this be the way to do it?
  
  What about embedding videos such as youtube? Do you use the "embed" code provided by youtube? :Linking to the video url wouldn't do it. And what about videos hosted elsewhere, such as Vimeo?
  
  Is there someplace where there instructions for doing all of this within a posting?

Whilst you can't use regular HTML in a post - the system is the same as any other post in the forum - you can get close by creating your page on a WordPress site or similar and then copying it into the Warrior Forum post.

Then tweak as necessary. It's something I've done on several occasions but you won't get the fancier stuff.

If you go down the graphic route, from memory there are extensions for Chrome and Firefox that will save the complete page as a graphic. Just beware file sizes if you go down that route.

Embedding videos I've not done so not sure on that, sorry.

There are people out there who'll do all this for you - check the Warriors for Hire section.
