Recommendation for 'video conference' (1-on-1)

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a reliable service/solution that I can use for 'video conference' with my clients - mainly 1-on-1. So both video and audio are needed.

Ideally, I would like to have the ability to host a conference, and only allow my clients to join during their time slot.

I know gotomeeting or webex are popular ones, but both of them require my clients to download some sort of software before they can use it. Unfortunately, not all my clients are tech savvy and some might not understand what's 'download and install' means.

What would you guys recommend? What about Google+ hangout and have it hosted on my Wordpress site somehow?

Thanks in advance.

What about the SKYPE or, VIBER? these also need to download & install. but most of the people are using these. I do not know which apps work without download & install.

I would recommend skype. join.me is pretty good too. Google also has a decent service. All are easy to use. Best of Luck!

One-on-one would be Team Viewer or Zoom. Best audio and video I have seen. I know that Team Viewer has a free version.

BTW, I have not found Skype to be reliable with Win8. Lots of driver issues that we struggle to keep up with.

As far as I know, there is nothing as you are looking. Nowadays I found some website are using an apps, which no need to download or, Install. But they can use MESSAGE CHAT only. No voice or, VIDEO chat. I think you must download & Install the apps to make a VIDEO conference. There are so many apps available at free of cost. You can use the SKYPE, Facebook, VIBER, QQ, TEAM VIEWER & so on. I think every one is using these any one of the apps. so you can use the widely used apps without any problem.

Skype seems to suit the situation quite well. And the price of free is quite nice as well. You can always just use the phone too, though. Not all meetings need video. And the phone is quite low tech.
