Hello Warrior Members,

For a few years now I am running a flash game site that has around 18.000 unique visitors generating 130k pageviews per month. All this time i have been running Adsense on this site with 300x250 and 468x60 banners but this does not generate a lot of income. The banners are clicked around 25 times per day.

What can I do to make more money from it?

    I can help.

I push games in a big way. Not my biggest market, but up there.

Forget Adsense. Really. Join CJ or something similar and push a mixture of:

    - Free Online Games
    - Free Game-Realted Offers (iPads, iPhone, xBox, etx)
    - PPS Offers on Targeted Pages.

Let's say you have a, I don't know, a flash game about fantasy roleplaying. (You can tell I don't play flash games). Something like Skyrim but a flash game. On THAT page, you promote the PPS for a decent MMORPG.

It's all about using general pages to mostly collect the free email and zip submits, and your inner pages to collect those but mostly the targeted offers.

You can keep the banners for adsense, because it's making you money.

What you could do is make people opt in to your email list with a promise to send them the newest free games. Then send them to CPA offers, that should make some bonuse money.

Plus you can also promote game related offers to your list which have a higher payout ofcourse.

Combining email marketing with CPA offers will probably be the biggest money maker for you. Gaming is a wonderful market for CPA and there are many networks that have a ton of offers you could promote. If your site has some sort of site-wide premium membership/currency you could use this as an incentive to promote the offers so long as it's allowed (i.e gain 3 free credits by signing up to this game trial).

You could also reach out to developers and sell featured space on your site to promote their game. Some websites are making a ton off of this.

I can agree. Get off sad sense. It pays pennies.

Promote some android apps. Most people have a smart phone as well as a PC, but sadly adobe cut support to FLASH now. Adobe is just plain crazy. Mobile is the future for us.

What you should do if your not doing already is building a list. You have a gold mine and don't know it. You could be sharing gaming insites on the latest tips and tricks building a fan base while promoting gaming cpa offers or becoming a amazon affiliate and promoting the hottest games through email. There is alot you can do but you need start building your list asap if your not.

I also have a popular game site called Games to Enjoy, and I use there Adsense with great success.
I have the following banners: 728x90 on top and bottom of the page and 600x120 on the left of the page.
Perhaps your ads are not located in good places as my ads are.

You won't do anything significant with adsense, you need to make any CPL or CPS kind of offer from other available platforms..

I too can recommend CJ and their great CPA game offers. If you have a decent site they will approve you within a day.

Another idea is to join the Kinguin affiliate program which is a marketplace that is selling most CD keys (full games) cheaper than retail. I'm sure your users will want to buy cheaper games too.

Be a cool guy- ask for my referral link in PM!

What kind of offers were you running?
Maybe you should figure out the offers that works best on this traffic and then focus on that...
