    Most i know use for Blackhat, or testing connections when there is a problem - bypass cache. Without more detail it's a little difficult to elaborate.

    Hmm.. Not sure about Proxy. But We use VPN service to protect backoffice logins, ssh logins, banks login so that you would HAVE to be on our network in order to even "try" to login.

    Sometimes I used the PROXY IP to change my current IP address. sometimes I used the HIDE MY IP apps to change IP also.
