Questions for Long-Time Warriors

No, I do not sell any WSOs. Never have.

I enjoy participating here and also reading what some of the other Warriors have to say about Online Marketing. And gleaning some stuff here and there.

Honestly, through years of being around these parts I do not learn as much as I once did just for the fact of 'seeing it all' at one time or another.

I am no expert guru or anything like that , but I do take pride in being here and offering advice and help to others when I can ( and sometimes giving a good swift kick in the behind of some newer members who just need a little kickstart lol)

But, to answer your query...

Nothing has changed for me, but, then I've not had many Warriors as customers (by design).

What is interesting for some of us, (ME), is to see how some of the Warriors have fared over the years. Many early guys are now gurus in syndicates and all...

others have gotten Google Slapped to death when they built their castles on Google sand.

The WWW and Internet have grown tremendously in the last 15 and there are TWO big opportunities for newbies...

ONE, to waste time and money by buying into the hype of IM "lifestyle" (see an almost daily thread on this)

TWO. You have a lot more tools, and choices to make today, but it is much easier and faster to get success in IM today than it was a decade ago.

There has been and will be an ongoing evolution of technology and tools, but, the Parade of Life we are in, the wants and needs haven't changed.

One perspective only.

A lot of these newcomer are very happy to waste money trying to let someone else explain how to get rich quick online as it's just easier than working for it. These people don't get very far and the only one earning money in that equation i the person selling stuff to other who won't take the time to learn from their own hard experience through trial and error.

I still particpate here, just not as often as I used to since I'm focusing most of my efforts on my publishing company and my travels.

How are you using / profiting from activity on the WF now?

I just formed a new partnership with another Warrior that will last several years and should be very profitable. Other than that, see my other replies.

Are you primarily just learning new things? Networking? Generating leads? Selling WSOs? etc.

Mostly to help others and do some networking.

I once didn't post at all, for a 6-month period, but apart from that I've been pretty "active" here for 6 years.

I don't do business here, at all. I'm not involved in any IM-related or MMO-related niches. I sell/promote nothing here. I just network and chat and gossip and learn, and try to help others a little, when I can. It breaks up my working day. I appear, sometimes, to be here for about 10 hours, but in reality I'm here for 5-10 minutes out of each hour of that. Apart from that, I'm just here "to make people anxious and miserable and worsen their indigestion".

Me too.

I've been involved with IM for a few years in different niches.

The industry has evolved as mentioned in an earlier post, there are opportunities now to learn the business faster and simpler than when we first started.

I've dabbled in using WF for offers and found that the members engage well, as it's an active site.

I use this site to primarily give advice and interact with fellow marketing folk...

My business has pretty much stayed the same except that I think now more people know me and I also know lots of people here. I pick up writing and proofreading clients and I like to learn and help where I can. I enjoy my time here because I live alone and it's nice to spend time online and see what others are up to.
It's the only forum I spend any time in as I spend most of my online time working.

I don't spend as much time here as I used to...but I think that's the key...as you grow in your online business you don't need to spend as much time learning, but more time doing. I still like to come over here and connect...and still love to check out the WSOs and offer my own help and advice to newbies ever so often.

I recently joined the WF and appreciate the responses in this thread.

From what I gather, one of the biggest changes that has happened here in a long while is the transfer of WF ownership. Has this been a positive thing? who knows but I'm sure as I continue to read through older threads, I will see how things were "managed" differently.
