So siteground told me I need to upgrade to $69/m cloud hosting !?

Dear all , I was using Siteground plan $5/month . I now have 4000 daily visitors (no adsense and no revenue ) and I got a message from Siteground that askded me to upgrade to $69/month cloud hosting.

It doesn't make sense to upgrade from $5/m to $69/m

I bought 2 months of the GoGeek plan (100K monthly visitors) but they told me it won't work and they refused to refund.

Now I am on 2 months trial of their cloud hosting.

I don't think I can afford $69 monthly right now until I start to make some profit.

I heard mixed reviews about Hostgator and good reviews about Namecheap.

Do I really need Cloud Hosting ?? Will Hostgator hosting work for 200k visitors ? Or they will force me to upgrade too ?

I heard that phrases like "unlimited" bandwidth and space are BS. So thats why I am wary of Hostgator.

Please help me

You need to ask them what exactly the issue is. The term "visitors" doesn't really mean anything. 100K visitors on one site is very different from the same on another site.

You need ot find out if this is a CPU issue, memory, disk I/O etc..

until you figure out what the problem is on why they say you need to upgrade, you're going to jump from host to host running into the same issue. Chances are, if SiteGround is forcing you to upgrade, HostGator will more than likely do the same.

Bottom line, you need more information on the resources you're using not just "visitors".

It does appear that you are too large for a shared hosting environment, but it doesn't look like they have an intermediary plan between their GoGeek plan ($29.95 regular price) and their Cloud Hosting. That is quite the jump. Have you considered looking into a Managed VPS? What is your budget?
