Default Trying out website flipping

I have just got a quick website up and wanted to develop it purely to flip. I have read no ebooks on website flipping and I am doing this based solely on bits I have read on the warrior forum.

If I could get a few peoples views on the site and the chance of flipping it for some profit that would be great. I would just like to see what people think before outsourcing articles for the site so I can make the changes needed.

How To Get A Flat Tummy, How To Tone Your Stomach

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Remember .com's are worth more than .org, .net, and .info.

Although the site looked simple and clean, I would be offended to promote the domain name. This is just me maybe, but as soon as I saw (first impression) the domain name, I immediately considered that I was being labelled an "idiot" should I go any further, and/or buy the product.

Although this may not affect all of the site visitors, it will most certainly affect some, and I for one, had closed the browser, (insulted) within 4 seconds.

This is only for feedback purposes, and I like to be as honest as possible. It is not meant to sound offensive

It looks like you're basically trying to flip a landing page. The design is nice and clean, I like it. But obviously you'll need to drive traffic and get sales before flipping. You have zero chance of flipping that without traffic or revenue.

I agree - the .info isn't good. But if it makes money it shouldn't matter, though a .com would be best and would increase your chances of sales and a successful flip.

And one other thing - CLOAK YOUR AFFILIATE LINK! If you cloak it you can increase your chances of grabbing sales, thus resulting in a flip. Assuming you're using Wordpress, there is a free link cloaking plugin that does the job perfectly.

Upon reading it I spotted a typo in the very first sentence/question in the headline. You may wanna fix that and the typos I've spotted here and there.

Ok here's my 2 cents worth.

Yes I think you are basically flipping a landing page rather than a complete website, however if this landing page can make money then it will sell. I would try and drive some traffic to it and see if you can make some sales.

I don't usually do this myself when I flip sites, but with a landing page site I think I'd be inclined to test it out before selling it.

As for the domain being offensive - how to get a flat stomach - how is that offensive? Not offensive at all in my opinion and is probably a good keyword phrase - according to Google keyword tool it has 27,000 searches a month and has only 149,000 results when searched in quotes - so that's a great domain name.

.info - I have sold a lot of sites with .info and it hasn't really made much difference to my sales whether I have .info or .com

Lastly - guareented - you might want to change the spelling of that

Good luck
Sheryl

Maybe I should have been more specific. The links all over the page which point to a second domain - Fatloss4idiots - that is what I was referring to. Hope this clarifies things.

Oh ok, the fatloss4idiots part - I guess that's understandable then. Although, Fatloss4idiots is a well known product and been around for a long time and apparently does very, very well. So I guess it's not too offensive to that many people or it wouldn't be doing so well.

I did think the exact same thing, the whole FatLoss4IDIOTS but seeing how well the product sells I thought I would atleast give it a shot.

Thank you everyone for your input and I have taken it all into account . With that I think I will be investing in some information on flipping.

Thanks guys.

Its not as "cut/dry" as you think... I tried to flip a few sites... one I included a PLR product, and a blog came with it... nver met my reserve.

Site: Keys To Your Fitness - Your Healthy Fitness Program

Blog: Keys To Your Fitness - Your Healthy Fitness Program (PR2)

Ads for CB: Keys To Your Fitness - Your Healthy Fitness Program [ Affiliate Program ]

Good luck flipping your site bro.
