Site Idea: "The Ideal Lifestyle Services"

A site that promotes the idea of living a healthy, happy, and wealthy life with minimum effort in terms of the sites services giving you everything you need in a bundle.

Such as...the perfect and proven method to make money online with all of the information and resources handed over to you upon purchase, a full meditation guide to relieve stress, depression, and to improve social skills, improve your mind, and all of the other benefits of meditating.

These niches are big markets and I want to offer the best product possible. I do not want to create the product myself, because I don't think I have good enough grammar to make a good ebook, enough information, nor do I have a camera or mic to record anything for a product.

I want to find a very good product, review it, and then contact the creator to see if I can become an affiliate. Is this possible?

My idea for the site is to offer two products combined that teach you how to make money online and advanced meditation techniques. Is this a good idea? After all, all in life that really matters is health and wealth.

They're not niches at all. They're all huge markets - among the world's biggest.

Please excuse the observation that it sounds a little as if you want it to be the best product possible for virtually everyone in the world. In marketing terms, that can become a nightmare and a disaster, because/when there's no real targeting.

Theoretically, if you don't mind doing business with someone who has no affiliate set-up and whose business isn't at all geared up to do that. Like all these things, it's not impossible to be successful with such a plan (and given the ever-present possibility of producing exceptional counterexamples, often famous because they're rare exceptions, it would be bold indeed to allege that), but it certainly wouldn't be my choice.

For me, it would be an awful idea (and I say that even as someone with quite some experience and knowledge of the meditation niche). Not only would it be trying to combine the meditation market - a very good market, certainly - with the "make money online" market (which is probably a recipe for chaos at all levels from traffic-generating to closing the sales), but I could also offer you almost as many reasons as you could ever want why having anything, at this stage of your IM career, to do with "MMO" would be likely to be an extremely unwise course for you. (Just say, if you want to know the details of "why", and I'll quickly provide 6 or 7 links which explain it at great length and in great detail!).

    It's far too vague, Kelvin.

There's (almost) no targeting. Without accurate targeting, in reality the money doesn't flow. This is "basic marketing". Sorry to sound outspoken about it, but I think that in marketing terms, it's highly likely to turn out to be a deeply and fundamentally flawed concept, partly because of the scope of its ambition leading to probable impracticability.

Stop wasting your time posting and go build it, then come back and tell us when it's making money.

Early To Rise is a good example of a site/newsletter that covers the wealth, health, and self-improvement markets.

Congratulations. You've got a great idea. However, as Alexa has pointed out, you're looking at two huge markets. That doesn't necessarily make the idea bad though.

What it does mean is that you'll need to narrow your demographic quite a bit. And before I forget I want to address the last comment in your post. There are three things that really matter. I place them in this order. Love, health and then wealth. In fact, everything people want falls directly or indirectly under one of those categories.

Okay, back to business. If I were you I'd find a group that you can relate too. I'd think you'd want them to be above average intelligence because dullards aren't all that interested in health and wealth, at least not the way you want to serve it up. So it's likely you'd be better off approaching people who have an interest in making more of their lives.

Once you figure out who that group might be you need to tailor your pitch to them and make it compelling. I doubt you're going to find an existing product for this but I suppose it's possible. I'm doubtful because once you choose your target audience you're going to want to relate to them directly (mention the stuff they all have in common, etc.) in your course or whatever you decide to offer.

But even without having an affiliate product(s) to run with you could probably find a freelance writer to put something together for you. It would be expensive if you wanted some really great material. Of course, you could save a lot of money by doing the research yourself and create an outline for the freelancer. Who knows, you may find that you can do nearly all of it and that you just need an editor or proofreader.

I'd say go for it. You'll either make it a success or you'll learn a lot, which will be useful no matter what you end up doing over the long haul. Good luck.
