What are your favorite ways of promoting?

Hey there Warriors,

As the title says, tell me your favorite ways of promoting your blog/website, your content or your products (depending on the type of business you're running)

My blog is about one month old and right now I'm really just trying to get a hang of things, but noticed that stumbleupon gave me a surge of 500 visitors/day average the last four days, which is awesome of course, but we'll see how long that lasts!

Basically I'm really just testing everything out right now, trying to find syndication publishers for article marketing and trying to get approved of a few guest posts here and there!

Anyway, what is your favorite method? What works for you?

-Karl

It depends if you are looking for a free or paid traffic. I do list building, and affiliate sales. For free traffic I use YouTube backlinked with social signals. For paid I use solo ads, Facebook PPC, Bing PPC.

I prefer to use social media. Mostly Facebook, Insta and Pin interest. It takes some work, but the traffic that they generate is good.

My best way of promoting a website is SEO with an Off Page optimization i.e. different types of submissions like article, forums, blogs, social bookmarking, etc. with this I found a quick result.

To promote my blog, I honestly liked to use article submission softwares such as. Article submission robot Got good traffic from these article websites

Also, social media websites are also awesome. There are some good services on Fiverr that get you good links as well.

I'm mostly using YouTube as a source of traffic but lately I've really been trying to get my SEO going, got a new site, about a month old, getting about 150-300 visitors/day - more on weekends.

    traffic sources are 60% YT / 35% SEs / 5% Social Networks

Considering that probably half of YT visits are people who found my video on Google page 1

Whichever method yields the highest return for the lowest investment. Also, having a diversified profile of such investments so that if any single promotional method dries up, the stability of the income stream isn't at risk.

For me, #1 is paid advertising. Hands down. I started off looking *down* upon paid advertising, and wanted to build my business up the *right* way... via free marketing. There's nothing wrong with free marketing, but if you're just starting out with it... results can come slow. I still do it everyday now though. But if i had to choose 1 thing that i would use forever... it would be paid advertising (PPC, facebook ads, high traffic website ads, joint ventures, etc).

There a many great ways to get traffic .... my personal favorites are free FB marketing, free and paid forum marketing and solos... the free methods are slow but I find the results are way better because I am creating that 1-on-1 experience. On the other hand solos are fast and reliable and therefore creates that balance of lead flow which I need in order to have a profitable business

I like paid ads because it gets you FASTER results.

Free marketing does work but not for everyone.

For someone new, I would recommend they go with paid ads.

Youtube videos are a great way to generate traffic as you generate traffic with laser like precision based on the specific niche/ niche topic.

I also like to use solo ads from credible sellers that have good reviews (there are lots of facebook groups to get reviews.

By far the biggest way I have found is Facebook Both Paid and unpaid

Paid advertising on Facebook works very well once you know how to tap into the buyers only market and It give you a return faster than unpaid.

On the other hand unpaid is free; however you have to ask yourself what's more important my time or money? If you are willing to spend time on it you will get good leads for free

One bit of advice I can give you with Facebook ads is to make sure you send customers to a landing page. This will save you both time and money

PS make sure you have a great gift to give away

When I used to run successful blogs I would post my content to as many syndication networks as I could find.

Try to find websites where you can post your links too in order to get eyes on it.

Also, try YouTube videos and being an authority on there.

I have passed my most of the time by doing FORUM posting. Here I prefer the do-follow link more than the no-follow link. Becase the do-follow link increase the site traffic & page rank at the same time while the no-follow link increase only the manual traffic. I also do the social media marketing, Blog commenting & so on.
