Using infographics to increase.. everything.

Is there a warrior here that makes use of infographics in their blog? In that case, could you please let me have a look as I am looking to get inspired and educated on the subject.

I am looking for blogs that make use of Responsive infographics, above all.

I believe that infographics allows readers to quickly get the main point if your data / topic / information, and that it is very important in our quick-view society. Infographics are proven to increase engagement and lots of other metrics. Is it not safe to assume that having a reader engage in your content for longer increases conversion, and also social media presence by people sharing this content?

What is your take on this?

I am also wondering if anyone here can recommend me an responsive infographic´s designer that has a quick turn over and low rates?

Thanks in advance.

    I like to use infographics.

Your best bet is to grab a copy of Photoshop and do some searches for infographics inspiration on Google.

Great suggestion on the searching. I do that all the time myself when looking to create my own designs. I actually learned that from an old prof in my graphic design classes back in universiy. He had me looking at tons of design magazines. I would spend hours in the library just enjoying the inspiration.

      To KDLMark:

I touched on this in my other thread, but the responsive portion you are asking for would be part of your theme or html. The infographics themselves are typically image file like jpg or png. You may need different sizes of your images so that your theme or html can pull in a smaller size if the device is smaller.

They key to infographics is accurate data. After that, it isn't too difficult to create a nice looking design. You just want to take 3 - 4 facts or ideas and then cut up your design into 3 - 4 spaces. The main fact would have a larger area on the design since you want to emphasis it.

Images do have an emotional impact on us. Telling you 80 out of 100 recall better from visual learning (like infographics) won't have the same effect as actually showing 100 images with 80 being a different color. The images will really drive home the idea.

      Cheers,

      Thomas
