Yes... without seeing your site, no-one can offer any credible suggestions.

My guess is that the copywriting needs improvement. But without seeing your site, it's only a guess.

You need a better offer. If the ebook you are promoting is PLR/MRR that is on fiverr and other sites then it is not appealing to anyone. It probably looks like re-hashed crap or typical MRR.

You should be the only one offering your incentive.

Write a simple report yourself or use PLR and re-write it with a new title and cover so it looks like a unique product.

Much more importantly, even if they do sign up (perhaps when you change your opt-in page and/or your traffic?), using that as your "opt-in incentive" will hugely devalue your list, and leave you putting your efforts into building a list you can't successfully monetize, because you'd still be failing to achieve all the essentials explained in this post: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7647187

The page on which they submit their email addresses. Explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post9319964

No, I don't mean that at all: I'm not suggesting that you should use "confirmed opt-in" rather than "single opt-in". (I think you should use "single opt-in", but that isn't my point, here).

My point is that no matter how much you change/edit/alter/amend the type of opt-in you're using, if you're using as the incentive the product you mentioned above, it won't help you much, because you're failing to do the important things that make the list worth something to you.

I understand that you have the problem that nobody's signing up. The reality is that even if you change your opt-in page, and even if you get different traffic, and even if you get people to sign up, you still probably won't be able to monetize the list you're building because you're giving them the wrong kind of thing in exchange for their email addresses, and that matters. Sorry.

M8, the main point of her post wast that it does not matter whether you use one or another kind of opt-in, whether you get targeted of any different traffic - the main thing is that you should provide an EXCELLENT content\service\product and it should be UNIQUE or, at least, HIGHLY relevant\efficient\ interesting.

You simply provide ebooks for free - and request opt-ins in return? Even if people do come to your site, they understand you are building a list immediately - and just leave.

And even if you DO build a list - you are still least likely to monetize it. Sorry for this, but this seems an ugly truth.

I started off believing that, too. To me, it now seems very much the opposite.

Like many others here, I benefitted enormously by switching from confirmed opt-in to single opt-in.

Almost none of the successful affiliate marketers I know are using opt-in confirmation.

In all the discussions of the relative advantages and disavdantages between the two, in forum threads here, I see countless alleged arguments in favor of confirmed opt-in which are actually based on mistaken premises, misunderstandings and illogic.

This thread discusses and explains several of the common ones: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8554418

As explained above, I don't think that's your main problem at all. Specifically, even if you achieve that, I don't think it will help you much, given how you're currently incentivizing the opt-in. Sorry.
