Marketing On the Alternative Internet That Is Being Launched

What does this alternative internet mean to our current websites?

Will we have to build new websites to launch on this alternative Internet?

Will this mean additional marketing campaigns etc?

Give your thoughts on this.

Likely it will be the same as marketing on all of the other nets...
Mostly a complete waste of time on any large scale.

Minor point - but every time I see the phrase "there's a war on for your mind" I think "the winner is going to be disappointed".

    An alternative internet you say?

So, instead of Barack Obama spying on you, it'll have Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping spying on you.

I can see that ending well.

So that blind people can hate them as well.

Considering Russia and China are now working together to dump the USD as the reserve currency - and how angry some nations that found us spying on them are now I'm not surprised this measure is being taken - but, I have no clue how this stuff works, so also don't know if there's some way it can connect into what we have online or if we will just have to have a duplicate connection to be able to connect to countries that drop this internet.

Will be interesting to watch how thing progress, though.

Edit: Wpedia - that's probably fairly accurate, LOL.

BRICS countries are close to completing a brand new Internet backbone that would bypass the United States entirely and thereby protect both governments and citizens from NSA spying.
It's a new Internet backbone, NOT a new "dark net". As long as it's accessible from the main Internet (and from the diagram it looks like it's going to be connected via Miami) it shouldn't make any difference to marketers.

These quotes below were the two most relevant and intelligent responses to my original post, but these two people got no thanks. The most irrelevant post got four thanks. Something is quite wrong, and I have seen this before. It is like.... do not bring up anything politically incorrect and if you do expect the person who backs up political correctness to get the thanks no matter if their comment was helpful or relevant to the original post. It is the truth we need to face up to and accept it and try to change things if we can. Burying our heads beneath the sand of political correctness will not help things one bit.

So why don't you thank them? Other people voted to the response that they found most useful, you can vote for the response that you find most useful. Problem solved, right?

WTF does Kay making a joke have to do with political correctness?

Alex Jones is a notorious fear monger and I can't believe you take anything he is connected with seriously.
