Anyone ever used phpprobid

Hi all
If anyone has ever used phpprobid before then I would like to ask a question.

I am currently working on the seo for a site which operates of phpprobid. i have recommended a few changes for the site. One of them is to change the page titles.

Now the customer has managed to change the home title however they are unable to change the title for the category pages. So the category pages are using the same title as the home page but have the category name before it.

The website is big and I would need good relevant titles for each page in order to optimise each page for their keywords. I explained this to the customer who got in touch with phpprobid and they state that only the home page title can be changed and the category titles can not.

Im a little confused as its a titles are a massive part of onsite optimisation if not the most important and I dont want lcd tv - antiques - jewellery and clothing coming as the title on a tickets and concerts category. This is just an example but I hope you get what I mean.
