I have a question about writing blog posts describing articles in magazines

When I read a good article in a magazine, I sometimes want to write a summary of what I have read and then reference the magazine issue, article and the page its on.

If I have time, I will do extra research on the subject. I think I need to do more blog posts on current events.

I wanted to get some advice on doing these kinds of posts and if I am on the right track.

I fully intend to stay away from plagiarism, and only write summaries.

I realize this should just be common sense, but I haven't really blogged much about current events and articles in magazines.

Any thoughts or advice for me to keep in mind?

    This is a really great idea. Posting about current events is a great way to keep viewers coming back to your blog because they know where they can come to get the latest news, pics, videos, etc..

    You could summarize these magazine articles, but if you're already on the computer, you could simply read the articles on yahoo news and similar websites and then add a related youtube video and link the post back to the full article on yahoo.

    Just some ideas to get your brainstorming
