Default How to Set Up Pre-launch Cookies?

Anyone has any idea on how to set up pre-launch cookies?

I need my affiliates to send leads over to my pre-launch site now.

I know Rapid Action Profits can do it but is there any other alternatives?

Sure there are other alternatives, but first, you have to know what cookie has to be written, as the name of the cookie has to match the cookie being tested during post-launch, by the affiliate program code.

If you're looking for a developer to do this for you, you'll need to be able to describe the cookie needed, and how the affiliate code is passed to the page.

While you are at it, you probably should ensure that they can also write the Javascript code (for an HTML page), or the server-side code (i.e. php, asp, etc.) to place the cookie, and possibly to retrieve the cookie during post-launch processing.

These specs are defined by what affiliate program you are running.

Thanks Sid for the info.

So, basically, I need a javascript that can plant cookies right?

I am planning to use 1shoppingcart's affiliate program. So, I need to contact them about this and get more info?

Hey Desmond...

The best thing to do is get hooked up with Infusion Soft...

If that is a bit out of the price range then the next best
bet is 1SC.

You can assign links to Squeeze Pages...that will be
converted to affiliate links for affiliates.

The cookie will follow through the opt in.

Hope this helps
Sean
