Big traffic blog moving

Hey guys,

I need some advice on how to move traffic from one website to another.

I own a website on the italian market .it with 80.000 visits per month on the /blog (wordpress install) and only 5000 per month on the prestahop installation on the root (8 products in total) it is not a huge ecommerce, most of them referred from the blog.

I want to move ALL the traffic to a new installation on a different domain not more .it but .com on a foreign server and all under Wordpress and woocommerce.

I was thinking to make a Multisite install in order to maintain the blog as it is and move it under the new domain and setup a new wordpress per the e-commerce on the root.

I can keep the .it and the new .com so I can setup permanent redirect without any problem.

What's your best advice to move all this traffic without lose visitors?

    You can set domain of your old site as redirecting toward your new site through your registrar. Check out your registrar. But you need to keep the old domain at least one year, so you don't lose the traffic.
