Choosing Keywords for your Site vs. EZA
I found one that adwords says costs about $25. Whoa, I thought. And went to check on it's popularity. According to nichebot, it gets just 2 searches a day.
I went to check the competition and one of the top ten results in Google was an EZA targeted for this keyword.
To me, this was just crazy! Why would you want EZA to get that kind of adsense revenue?
It made me think of a point that not all people may think of...
If you find a high-cost keyword, even if the search is low, you may want to write an article about that on your site. People may not be searching for that word, but they may reach your site from another search, click on the article for that keyword and then proceed to click on an ad.
But unless the keyword is a highly searched for term, you wouldn't want to focus an article marketing campaign around it. When you do that, you're just giving more revenue to the article directories.
Of course, I suppose this mainly applies to people that are using adsense on their sites. If you're targeting a different revenue stream, then maybe you would want to...
But it just got me to thinking...
