Would you use guest posting to update your site all the time?

I have a domain which is over 2 years old, has a PR1 and domain authority of 22. It has some content and is getting some visitors but I want to update the site without paying for content or writing it my self.

If I'm honest, I don't care much for the site except for the earnings, so would you accept guest posts everyday and publish them "BUT" making sure I give away "no-follow" links only.

That way, I'm not passing link juice to bad neighborhoods and in a way, keep my site clear of any updates.

I would only accept good content only, so if you were in my situation, would you do this?

Remembering the site is over 2 years old and a nice 22 domain authority, I think it will have some ranking power behind it.

What do you think?

To people who understand the primary purposes and benefit of guest posting, it makes no significant difference at all whether the backlinks are no-follow.

I do as much guest-posting as I possibly can (in all my different niches), and it would never occur to me to ask, or to check, whether the links I get are do-follow or no-follow. It simply isn't relevant at all to me.

I'm guessing from your question that you're looking at guest-blogging as being primarily concerned with SEO?

    Great post Alexa!

I agree with those sentiments. If you're using guest posting primarily for link-building, you're squandering much of it's value.

I consider guest posting one of the best ways to build quality links, BUT you're risking a lot if you rely too heavily on those links.

More to the point, effective guest posting will generate quality traffic directly, rather than as a 'by product' of ranking-through-link-building.
