How to deliver video course?

Hello,

What is a good and cheap way to deliver a video course?

It is a large course containing 10 videos around 10 minutes each. I would like the videos to be viewed on a website, if it does become costly i will deliver it some other way.something other than optimizepress. Also what kind of hosting would be required to run the videos nice and smooth.

Cheers.

You can just use Youtube to host your videos. Make sure they are 'Unlisted' to make them more private. And then you can just Embed them on any site you want.

You can also use Vimeo.com to host your videos.

Another great video platform is Wistia.com - this one is the one highly recommended for internet marketers online.

    I hope this helps!

I wish you the best of the best!

    Cheers!

    Good question.

I was going to make a thread about it as well.

But my question to all the answers above - how can I share the videos privately? I mean if people buy my course I don't want it leaking to pirate sites etc.

How can I make only people who have bought the access get the videos?

    Thanks,

    MeelisM

If your website is built on Wordpress, then the Woo Sensei plugin (for courseware) and Wistia video hosting are hard to beat.

I recommend you this site : Online Courses - Anytime, Anywhere | Udemy
This is a site with thousands of courses online, you can become an instructor and start selling your courses, your videos are secured and available only to people who buy your course.

You can easily build wp site and embed videos.
Make site visible only for registered visitors
You can upload videos to you-tube, vimeo wistia
    Make videos Unlisted....

Don't worry if somebody share the video with his friend...
If someone get video training for free he usually forget on it next day...

Do you want to sell the videos? If yes, you should spend some money. On the other hand, if you want to deliver your videos at free of cost, you can upload any free site. There is no problem.

Udemy or host on your website using Moodle or WordPress and s2Member with the videos on Amzon S3. Alternatively, create a physical product (DVDs) using Amazon CreateSpace or Vervante.

I'm not brave enough to try out Amazon with my videos, but many of my friends and partners use it for their courses so it must be pretty good.

Vimeo pro or business should be good enough though, and that's what i currently use.

For $60 (pro) and $200 (business) yearly cost I'm not even sure Amazon is a cheaper solution. You get 5 gigs of space to upload weekly with pro and like 20 with business so space should not be an issue with their service.

I seriously don't know of a cheaper way to host videos than this.

YouTube has always worked very well.

Put the videos on unlisted and you'll be good to go.

I'm using Vimeo Pro and I recommend it. The main sellng point for me is that you can set the domain you want the video to play on so it won't be accessible anywhere but your domain.

You have a few options. As you can probably figure out, an inverse relationship between ease and cost most times.

Video Hosting - I have personally used Vimeo Pro and Amazon S3. If you have the money, Vimeo Pro all the way. Wistia just upgraded their free plan to 50 videos with no size limits. I can't tell you if it allows you to control what sites it plays on with their free platform. Otherwise, S3 is the most cost effective way of streaming video, just have to make sure you have a compatible video player.

Website: Most of us use wordpress with membership software. In my case, wordpress, Optimize Press 2 theme and Digital Access Pass. If you don't want to go that route (it is not the cheapest) you can do wordpress with S2 member which has a free version, or wordpress with OP2, that includes a membership plugin as well. Or, if you have more time then money, use Drupal, you can set everything up for free.

Finally, if you just don't want to deal with it all, take a look at Gumtree. They take a 5% cut which is pretty inexpensive figuring merchant fees take up approximately 3% of that.

Use Youtube or Wistia. Wistia now have free plan. Use PB (profitbuilder) as it is easy and much cheaper from OptimizePress.

According to me, if you use the youtube, it would better. There is no cost. here you did not mention that are you publishing the video at free of cost or are you going to sell the video? If you want to sell the video, you can host by paid in the leading site.

I recommend you use Amazon S3. Very fast and reliable for me

And my best bet would be that you build a membership website to protect your videos

    Hope that helps

I prefer Wordpress, Slideshare and YouTube for uploading videos. And these are quite cheap I guess. I recommend you to try these sites at once and get the benefit of it.

This is the same thing I want to know when I started.

For hosting video files for cheap - Amazon s3 is hand down the cheapest and is used by most marketers.

Second in command in Vimeo Pro, they offer lots of cool features, especially the options to be able to only display your videos on domains that you choose.

I use both of the above and I can tell you from experience, they both are excellent choices.

I use S3 to sell my PLR video training courses - to allow my customers to download the video files after purchase.

I use Vimeo to host some training courses and allow my subscribers access to some of them through a OptimizePress membership classroom type page where they can watch it through my site. I think Vimeo PRO is the best option for you if you want your customers to be able to watch the videos without worrying about streaming issues.

I would share the same advice as FreedomBlogger, which is uploading them on YouTube "Unlisted". This looks like the simplest option and the videos will also play smoothly.

I have bought a few courses before delivered in that manner.
