Where do you make most of your money, is it selling to the internet marketing niche or another niche?

Most of my money comes from the Offline community, however I do also sell to the IM community from time to time.

Internet Marketing is my main niche but not just Internet Marketing in general - more of a sub niche within Internet Marketing

I've been marketing online for 10 years and have yet to really market the "Internet Marketing niche" although I do have a blog. I'll do it one of these days!

My main business is not IM. I'm just exploring IM as a side thing to see what happens.

I hardly ever create IM products and when I do it's only because I've been asked a question so many times I make a product to answer it - but I usually end up deciding to give them away rather than sell them. I do have a bunch of IM related sites for various purposes but my focus for revenue is outside IM because it's much easier to get people to appreciate your time and knowledge. Andy |

Great question Scott. I want thinking about this last night when I was wondering how many newbies to online business think the IM niche is the only or best way to make money online. I guess I've always thought people make more money in other niches, and perhaps moved to IM a little later when perhaps teaching those in their topic niche how to make money online. If they did IM at all. Ryan Lee coming to mind there; first fitness now IM. My sites are primarily non IM niches (which I usually keep to myself), with a few IM sites. If someone new asks my advice, I usually suggest a non IM niche first. |
