Potential Customer: It sounds great - but we can't afford it right now....

Potential Customer: Our advertising budget is already fur filled for the year.

Potential Customer: Since your website is brand new - I want to hold off until there is more traffic?

It all depends on you and what you have to offer.

If you have an established website with tons of traffic then That is what you focus on when talking with your prospects. For those without the money up front, then it is up to you to become creative with some financing options.

If, on the other hand, you have a new site and no traffic then you really do not have anything solid to offer so there isn't much you could say

Objection One. "That's a common idea when people are first introduced to my ______. I think it's important to ask yourself, "can I afford to not use your service??

Objection 2:Is your budget returning the goals you expected? If not, your budget is not met, because you will still have to spend money on advertising to return a profit unless you are OK with taking a loss!!

Objection 3: This website is new, however, my expertise and experience is not. If you decide not to use my services, now, when you decide that you should may be too late. I have a limited amount of time to offer this service, and I'll will simply offer this to your competitor. So you may be unwittingly aiding in the success of your competition, which eventually puts you out of business!

PC: What is a average conversion rate for my product X
PC: Is it PPC or CPM and if it's cpm how high is the CTR
PC: I want to book a high amount. Can you deliver this in this short time period
PC: Are your ad spots exclusive. Maybe I just can use google to still come on your site

    hope that helps

I personally don't see this as an objection. This is usually 1 of 2 things. They truly cant afford what it is you are offering. OR you simply have not sold the value of what you are selling to the prospect

Again, not an objection. there is beginning to be a pattern here. You simply are not delivering what the prospect wants to hear. they just want to be polite and get off the phone.

Again, not an objection. if there ever was a reason, this would be one of them NOT to do something. You clearly are not developing any trust in the phone call. you are not delivering the value and the benefit of your advertising. YOU are giving the prospects the outs.

you need to work on your sales pitch. You need to assert the value of your offer.

Ok all good feed back...Thank you guys so much! Love this website!

I have not made any calls yet - I am just preparing my objectives.

    So my next question...

The only way to purchase their listings is by them going to my website and purchasing it on the actual site... Any tips or advice on how to get my customers that I am calling - to stop what they are doing and get onto my website while I am talking to them - so I can get them into a position to purchase.

I am just a little worried that I would pitch them - they may really like the idea... but as soon as we get off the phone - they get distracted and then forget about coming to the website...

I just don't want to lose a sale...

    Thoughts?

why do you make them go to your site to buy. I use paypal on my ecommerce site and on more than one occasion I have had customers want something custom that was not available on the site but I was able to do for the, I just sent them an invoice via email for them to pay. I am sure there are other invoicing solutions available to you

    A good approach to objections:

    1. Feel
    2. Felt
    3. Found

It fits any objection...Google the approach, after all objections are really feelings that may not be based on fact.

"I understand how you feel about ___?__. (express a few more statements of understanding). I (or others) have felt the same way because..(express example) But, what I/they have found was ___(restate the features and benefits of your USP unique selling position). "

Picked this one up as an Army recruiter, it help me enlist over 50 people to serve their county...should help you get some advertising revenue.

    Good luck.

      Thanks for your feedback!

They have to purchase it on the website because that is where they build their listing...,

I am not selling any products... I just sell directory listings and advertising space.
