    for a website like yours, your main focus should be probably facebook and twitter considering thats where most people search for that type of content. Make a facebook page and post daily, invest some money into the facebook page and start using twitter sites to get retweets, favs etc...

    There are a tone of websites like that at the moment so be consitent with it.
