What is the Best strategies for selling on Flippa?

Hi
I made a listing of my good PR Web Link Directory in Filippa. I need to know how to promote it apart from social bookmarking and blogs.
Do you think twitter promotion via flippa will help enough to get more watchers?
Please advise.. Thanks

      i think the site I'm selling CrabDir.com is good in quality with quality links and spam free including earning and good traffic details.

    People like myself are always on Flippa looking for a good deal. If your site is good, we'll find it, watch it, try to buy it. Simple as that.

    Most buyer on flippa on care about your revenue and doesn't really care of what website are you selling if they have potential etc.

    I list a couple of e-commerce site on flippa and no one bid at all.

    Surely with these stats (if they are real visits) you should be making moremoney from your site than you're doing.

    Ever considered building a list and monetize your site that way?

    The difference between making just about $100 and $1000+ is huge if you want to attract potential buyers. The fact that you have a lot of traffic and don't make that much money might scare people off...

    So if i were you, i would start building a list and see if you can make some more money, you might end up keeping your site.

    Be transparent with your stats. Claims that aren't verifiable won't get much attention.

    Why would you sell it? If you monetized with ads I'd expect $200/mo instantly on the low end. IF you page views are accurate.

    What are you monitoring your page views with? If you're using AWstats or some other program that processes log files, your stats are probably showing double the pageviews compared to GA

      Well, my websites are normally good quality, amazon review sites and information based websites which earn through Google Adsense.

      Iv found setting the reserve at $1 gets a huge interest, you will get more watchers and views. If you can get it into the most viewed category, you get even more exposure.

      Doing this can lead to bidding wars but sometimes it may not go your way. At the end of the day, it's a risk, it can go either way.

      Reputation counts, but many buyers want to see actual proof of traffic and revenue that the site brings in per month.
